HIGH PROFILE START UP - POST SERIES A STAGE

We are working with an award winning start-up on the appointment of their first Legal Counsel, reporting to the CFO. Based on the huge success of its flagship digital product, the business has recently gone through a very successful and high profile Series A funding round. It is on its way to international expansion (to the US and EMEA) as well as new product development.

This is a 3 day/week role (with the potential to increase in future if mutually agreed) and we are looking for lawyers with a broad range of commercial and tech experience. Experience in start-up or tech businesses and exposure to international work and expansion will be very useful. You will be able to operate confidently and autonomously, influence upwards and establish strong relationships with the ExCo, stakeholders and external law firms.

We are keen to speak to bright, developing superstars who can grow into this role, together with the business itself, or to more experienced lawyers. You could be a junior/mid-level lawyer who wants to join a successful start-up and grow with it. Or you could be more senior but still prefer a "doing" role, a sole counsel position and the excitement of a scale-up's growth journey rather than a more staid corporate.
