Head of Legal (Sole Counsel)

A replacement Head of Legal is sought for a sole counsel role at an energy and utilities management company based in Lancashire. The working arrangements for this role can be flexible - for instance where you could work mainly from home if this is your preference.  

This is an opportunity that could be suitable for an excellent 3+ PQE solicitor looking to advance their career speedily, and it could be equally as relevant for solicitors with more PQE. 

This company will consider applications from those currently working in-house as legal counsel, as well as from a law firm environment. Most importantly, you will be approachable, keen (and able) to take a senior post where you will have ultimate responsibility for varied legal matters, and able to work well with senior stakeholders and colleagues across the business. 

The work focus will be commercial contracts, and you will also deal with any disputes, privacy and data protection work, as well as the usual compliance and company secretarial duties.
