Job Details


A senior data protection specialist is required to join a market leading Plc. The role will be offered on a 12 month fixed term basis initially as this is an opportunity to lead the project looking at a full global review of current DP policies and provision. The business is currently B2B but this may change and so future-proofing for consumer requirements would also be useful.

Reporting to the General Counsel you will:

- Review and implement data protection policies and procedures
- Design and roll-out of DP training globally
- Conducting data inventories
- Updating and putting into place DPA's
- Ensuring DP compliance in multiple jurisdictions
- Liaise with local, external Counsel
- Work closely with the General Counsel to decide on DP requirements for the business in the future

You should be a senior data protection professional who can show experience of leading a project of this kind for a global organisation. The role can be offered on a full-time or part-time basis and may require some international travel.

This is a great opportunity to conduct a full review of data protection in a successful listed environment, it is also a very friendly and supportive environment. Depending on recommendations there may be an opportunity to extend past the 12 month point.
