The Role

This firm is looking for a Solicitor with 0 - 5 years PQE, with a Banking and/or Capital Markets background to join their Leeds office.

The work you will carry out will be predominantly focused on advising borrowers on loan agreements and security, listed bond issues, private placements, ISDA agreements and PFI loan agreements and related funding agreements. Within these work areas, regulation, charity law, and community benefit society law will also be involved.

You will be responsible for the day to day running of transactions, drafting, reviewing and negotiating all manner of banking and bond documentation.

Requirements

  • You will be a Solicitor with ideally 0-5 years PQE
  • Experience in general banking law and/or capital markets transactions.
  • Experience of charity law, housing association law and regulatory experience would also be an advantage, though not essential
  • You will have a solid academic background


Remuneration

  • Salary is negotiable depending on your level of PQE, plus an excellent benefits package
