Complex Commercial Litigation (4-12yrs+) – BVI

With a constant stream of high value disputes coming into our clients highly regarded BVI office, we have been instructed to locate additional barristers / solicitors for their small but expanding team.

To be considered, applicants will be admitted to practice in England & Wales or BVI/Caribbean and have between 4-7yrs post qualified experience developed with a leading onshore/offshore law firm or commercial/chancery chambers. Academically excellent, you will have developed deep experience in complex commercial litigation and be comfortable running multiple matters independently, when called upon. The work on offer is both interesting & challenging and will include the usual offshore diet of complex international insolvencies, restructurings and security enforcement, multi-jurisdiction fraud recovery, asset-tracing,  shareholder & trust disputes. Those comfortable on their feet and looking for regular court work will find our client very accommodating.

Applications from more senior lawyers with 7yrs+ PQE are also welcomed, such is the desire to strengthen their capability in the BVI and maintain momentum in their practice development. Ideally those with previous offshore disputes experience would be preferred, but this is not abolutely essential if possessing a strong pedigree.
