Legal Counsel, homeworking part time

Arbuthnot Yon has been instructed an opportunity for a lawyer to join a national retail business which is going through an exciting period of change and looking to expand their existing legal team to support growth in the business. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for a lawyer to undertake a varied role where you will advise on a range of commercial legal matters with a focus on technology contracts and projects!

Reporting into the Head of Legal and forming part of a established in-house team, you will be responsible for drafting, negotiating and advising on a range of commercial agreements and issues affecting the business. The emphasis of your role will involve working closely with business colleagues and advising on technology related projects and contracts. You will also advise on and oversee broader legal areas including a range of general commercial agreements, data protection, IP issues and disputes (with support from external law firms as required).

We are keen to hear from lawyers with at least 5 years’ PQE gained in-house or in private practice who have experience of dealing with commercial and IT related agreements.

Salary to £70,000 (full time equivalent) plus £7,000 car allowance, 20% bonus, pension and healthcare.
