Our client is a Magic Circle firm with over 30 offices, spanning the world’s key financial and legal hubs. The firm boasts a highly enviable client base including the largest energy companies, trading houses, financial institutions and corporates

The Energy & Infrastructure Group is core to firm’s strategy both in London and globally and in particular there is a real focus on the energy transition.

POSITION

The role is to sit as part of this award-winning project finance group. You will be advising a range of clients including banks, ECA’s, developers and corporates on large scale project finance transactions. The role will also encompass wider energy finance transactions such as RBL and ABL deals.

The projects the team act on invariably have a highly international element to them, with the projects tending to be in emerging or frontier markets. In recent years they have acted on some of the largest renewable power, infrastructure, oil, gas and mining project financings. The team works consistently with colleagues across the firm’s international offices.

CANDIDATE

You will ideally have between 1-4 years of post-qualified experience and qualified in a common or civil law jurisdiction.

Experience of working within a leading project or energy finance team is highly advantageous. A strong interest in the energy sector is important as is the desire to work on large, complex and challenging multi-jurisdictional transactions.
