Job Details
Our client is a global law firm, famous for their reputation in the international shipping sector.
Their specialist Marine Assets and Projects Team covers all areas of transactional marine assets and projects work, working with yacht builders, owners, designers, brokers, project managers and operators of the industry.
In the superyacht space, the firm's experts assist clients to handle the full range of legal issues related to new build contracts, pre-owned sale and purchase, repair and refit, finance, security structures, operational and owning structures, design and project management agreements.
Due to increased client demand, they are now looking for a junior Associate to augment the existing team. In this role, you will work closely with the specialist Marine Assets and Projects Team as well as other ancillary practice areas, such as corporate and marine litigation. There will also most likely be plenty of interaction with the firm's international offices.
In order to be considered for this role, you will be a recently qualified or soon to qualify solicitor. Ideally you will have trained at another international firm, and have some experience (at least a Training Contract seat) in shipping finance, as well as a passion and an understanding of the maritime sector.
