Corporate Partner – Transatlantic Boutique

This niche firm with offices in London and the US is looking to add a second partner to their London corporate team. 

The London office is doing extremely well; the partners are an established team and are consistently achieving their revenue targets. The partners have joined from leading City practices and have found this an excellent platform from which to service their existing clients and win work.

Having been extremely busy during the pandemic the firm is focusing its attention towards growth in London. 

There is a corporate partner in situ, who has bedded in very well and hired a junior team. The team is dealing with corporate finance, market listings, M&A and private equity work across a range of sectors. 

Following this successful hire they are keen to recruit a second corporate partner to work with the HOD, either a strong LD or Counsel level lawyer who is looking for that next step, or an individual who is already at partner stage. 

This could be an opportunity for a lawyer currently in a UK or National firm to join an transatlantic practice, as the following requirements are aligned with that ecosystem rather than the larger US players. It is also an opportunity to play a key role in an ambitious new entrant to London which is already up and running and is backed by a successful US entity. There are substantial opportunities for successful partners to join the equity in the short to medium term. 

The firm acts for several sports sector clients, and so a candidate with expertise in this area as part of a wider corporate practice would be of interest. This is however by no means an essential requirement.
