Corporate Lawyer 1-5 PQE

Your new firm
This corporate team have specialist industry knowledge across a variety of sectors, including: aerospace & defence, charities and social enterprise, education, energy law & utilities, family-owned business, healthcare, and technology. The team are experienced, boasts several highly-rated Lawyers and advise clients on a broad range of corporate transactions and provides specialist corporate legal services to businesses throughout the UK and internationally. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a 1-5 PQE Corporate Solicitor to join their Bristol office.

Your new role
You will advise on corporate matters including include sales and purchases of shares and assets, joint ventures and shareholders agreements, management buy outs and buy ins, venture capital and private equity investments, partnership and LLP work, company secretarial advice and support, re-organisations and related advice, and general corporate advisory work. Your role will also involve supporting the other Corporate Teams, as well as other teams within the firm where corporate support is required. You will contribute to business development for the corporate practice generally including attending networking events and supporting partner led business development initiatives and you will have the opportunity to join and become involved in sectors as appropriate, such as Healthcare, Education, Technology, Family Business, Aerospace & Defence.

What you will need to succeed
You will be able to manage your own matters (where appropriate under supervision), able to prioritise and manage projects, and work with other advisory teams (such as Corporate Finance advisors and accountants etc.) You will have experience of working in a corporate team in a leading firm; a tenacious attitude and a highly commercial approach to business are essential. You will have the confidence to handle a sizeable and good quality caseload for a broad range of clients and will be able to build effective and positive client relationships quickly and fully embrace the importance of client service.
