Junior Lawyer (12 months FTC)

Looking for Inhouse Junior Lawyer in Public Sector, 12 months FTC, Hybrid Working.

My client is one of the financial services organisations in Public Sector.

Your new role

• Advise on policy and operational matters as well as conducting litigation, including where appropriate the instruction of Counsel.
• Advise the Frontline Regulation team in respect of their consideration of regulatory and/or enforcement action.
• Advise on operational and policy development.
• Identify, advise on, and escalate decisions that create unmanaged legal risk.
• Contribute to the Legal Services teams know how - sharing knowledge and actively participating in providing training

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified Solicitor or Barrister in England & Wales from NQ to 5 years PQE
• Flexible with Inhouse or Practice background
• Candidate has litigation and regulation experience will be highly preferred
• Candidate working on large projects in public sector will be preferred
• Experience or knowledge of Pension Law, commercial and/or regulatory law advice is ideal but not a must to have
• Excellent communication skills, consistent, resilient, self- motivated and team working
• Highly organised and detail oriented.
• Can travel to Brighton office at least twice a month or once a week
