Role in Litigation (3-6 PQE) – Prestigious Offshore Firm in the BVI – Barristers/Solicitors Welcome

We have been instructed on an exciting opportunity for litigation lawyers who are interested in relocating to the Caribbean.

This role is with a preeminent offshore firm in the BVI, seeking Litigation Associates between 3-6 years’ PQE.

This is a unique role as the litigation team advises on BVI law, in addition to assisting in proceedings in other jurisdictions worldwide.  The role will involve contentious matters primarily relating to trusts, company, insolvency, civil fraud, asset tracking and pre-emptive remedies, arbitration and enforcement.

Successful candidates can be a qualified Barrister or Solicitor, and should have a strong litigation background ideally gained at a leading onshore firm in London/Sydney/Melbourne. 

The candidate should be confident to work autonomously on matters under partner supervision, and supervise more junior candidates and support staff.

The BVI offers low tax in addition to a work/life balance in an ideal location in the Caribbean.  Should a further move to the onshore market be desired in due course, although unlikely given the high-quality work, and attainable career progression available at this firm, then any experience gained is transferrable back to the onshore market.
