British Virgin Islands – Leading Offshore Firm – Corporate/Finance Associates (3-6 PQE)

We are working closely with the partners of this leading offshore firm on a strategic growth hire into its well-established office in the British Virgin Islands.

The firm is looking to recruit a mid-level English qualified corporate or finance associate from the London market, and is offering high quality transactional work with an impressive array of elite-level clients.

The team advises on the offshore aspects of high-value international deals, including financings, acquisitions, joint ventures, and investment funds.

The majority of lawyers in the firm’s BVI and Cayman Island offices are City trained and qualified, and moved offshore to develop their career in an exciting marketplace that can offer vast benefits over London in both a career and lifestyle context.

Candidates will be English qualified, working for a top-tier City practice, and will ideally have a broad range of experience across corporate and finance transactions, although specialist finance/corporate/funds associates are also of interest.

With a far less saturated field, lawyers moving offshore at this stage in their careers, with a strong background in onshore work from a Magic Circle or similarly well-regarded firm, will be in a much stronger position to progress their career and become established in what is a very lucrative market.

Tax free salaries, a tropical climate, world class beaches and outdoor activities make this a hard prospect to turn down for any lawyer who is tiring of the City lifestyle.
