The Opportunity

An opportunity now exists for a lawyer to take on a key role in the legal team providing dedicated legal support to the business, with particular responsibility for both day-to-day and more complex commercial agreements and IP.

In addition, you will also provide licensing support in the exploitation of research assets and technology transfer clients. You will support the business on a wide range of matters specifically focusing on the research, development and commercialisation of new and ongoing research. 

You will also have the opportunity to manage and mentor trainees and contracts managers.

About You

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercial or IP lawyer with life sciences or healthcare experience to join an innovative, forward-thinking organisation in a key role. The ideal candidate will have some life sciences experience although a general commercial background with an interest in life sciences would be welcome. An interest in managing others would be helpful. A science background would be well-utilised but is not essential. You will work closely with the business and as a result, a personable approach and the ability to work with people at all levels across the organisation is essential.
