THE ROLE

Our client would like to speak to solicitors who have defendant experience in claims for defamation, breach of privacy rights, breach of confidence, breach of the Data Protection Act and some claims for intellectual property infringement.

An ever growing sector, The TMT & Cyber team deals with issues associated with publishing, hosting, sharing, storing and transferring information, advising customers in the private and the public sector how to best deal with claims and complaints about what they have said and/or who they have said it to and the risks relevant in dealing with large amounts of often sensitive information.

Their clients include Insurers, insureds, local authorities, police forces, hospitals, trusts, schools, publishers, broadcasters, production companies, advertising agents, marketing companies, loss adjusters and brokers.

THE CANDIDATE

* 3PQE+ Solicitor with TMT Litigation experience

* Experience in claims for defamation, breach of privacy rights, breach of confidence, breach of the Data Protection Act and some claims for intellectual property infringement
