Two planning lawyers are offered an excellent opportunity to join a top tier planning team at this leading national practice in Birmingham.

The firm ranks as one of the top 40 in the UK. The planning lawyers joining this highly reputable practice in Birmingham will join a team at the centre of a national planning practice, undertaking the highest calibre planning work on complex, challenging, and high-value projects throughout the UK.

These projects span various sectors including residential development, commercial development, retail, hotels, manufacturing and distribution, energy, and infrastructure.

The work undertaken by this market-leading planning team in Birmingham is broad, encompassing all elements of planning work, which will include:
 

• S106 agreements
• Strategic planning advice
• Planning enforcement
• Urban extensions
• Judicial review and public inquiries
• Planning applications
• Environmental impact assessments
• Highway agreements
• Development consent order applications
• Commercial planning due diligence
• Compulsory purchase
• Land assembly matters
• Regeneration

There are two roles available for planning lawyers between NQ and seven years’ PQE. Candidates applying for this position should be able to display:
 

• A strong academic background
• At least a single training seat in planning and experience gained with a reputable regional or national practice
• Strong technical knowledge
• Strong communication and drafting skills
