In House Commercial IT/IP 6 month fixed term contract

Our client is looking for an experienced IT/IP Lawyer to cover a 6-month maternity leave contract with an immediate start.

The Role:

Reporting to the Head of Legal, you will provide support on a range of commercial, IT & IP matters to the business.  This will include:

• Reviewing and drafting commercial agreements
• Advising on Data Protection matters
• Providing advice on a range of IT/IP issues relating to complex projects

You will be expected to work in the office 1 to 2 days per week but this can be flexible to suit your needs as long as you can be present when required.  Otherwise, you will have the freedom to work from home on a flexible basis.

About you:

You will be a qualified Solicitor with at least 3 years of experience in managing a range of commercial legal matters.  You will be able to manage and work with a range of stakeholders, working collaboratively to achieve the best commercial outcome for the business. 

Ideally, you will be available at short notice and happy to take on a 6-month fixed term contract with some travel required.
