We are working with an established and well- respected global construction, engineering and project management company. Specialising in building, support services, development and infrastructure investment they deliver landmark projects that create long-term progress and growth.

We are looking for a talented lawyer to join the legal team supporting the Construction Business Units. Reporting to the Head of Legal - Construction, your role will be varied and will include:

* Supporting the Construction BUs on both contentious (mainly pre-litigation) and non-contentious matters - heavy/higher value disputes are handled separately;

* Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a range of construction agreements (such as JCT, NEC and possibly FIDIC) and supporting the business on tenders; and

* Advising on general business law matters, risk and strategy and working together with the Head of Legal - Construction on standard documentation, playbooks etc. going forward.

You are likely to have at least c.2 years' PQE and up to c.7 years' PQE. You may have trained and qualified in either private practice or in-house and will have gained experience in a strong construction department. In terms of personality and cultural fit, this is a friendly and proactive team and you will be able to demonstrate enthusiasm and flexibility. You will enjoy good quality work and great development and progression opportunities, a close working relationship with the business and excellent WFH flexibility: attendance in the office will normally be required 1 and up to a maximum of 2 days a week and the work/life balance is very good.
