Job Details
Our client is a major worldwide engineering and construction consultancy. They are looking for a construction solicitor to join their 10+ strong UK legal team.
The work is exceptional quality and the projects that the group has been involved with spans a broad spectrum of engineering projects, from redevelopment of major London landmark buildings, to new build museums and airports. They also handle major infrastructure projects involving utilities and energy providers, as well as critical environmental schemes. There will be exposure to international work if desired.
You will ideally be a solicitor in the NQ-8 year pqe range with a background in construction law. The role will see you reviewing and negotiating a range of contracts across the construction spectrum, including JV's and sub-contractor agreements as well as giving 'live' dispute avoidance advice and ensuring the Group's compliance with corporate governance.
The role will be a hybrid working arrangement of office and home and you should ideally live within striking distance of a major City - such as London, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Bristol, Edinburgh or Glasgow.
