Mid-Level Lawyer (3+ yrs.) Sought for Global Financial Services Organisation

Our client, based in Central London, is looking for a lawyer to join their established legal team who support the markets, treasury and liquidity management business lines for a wide range of issuers, financial intermediaries and institutional investors.

Once in the role, the successful candidate will occupy a role with real scope, advising on all aspects of creating and enforcing security interests over cash and securities and working with the credit and product management teams on developing new products.

 More specifically the successful candidate will draft, negotiate and review:

• Stock Lending Agreements on an agency and principal basis;
• Derivatives agreements relating to different counterparty types;
• Securities financing documentation;
• Triparty Collateral Management Agreements.

Experience with the following is essential:

• securities lending;

• derivatives (vanilla or structured);
• collateral management.

You may come from another in-house financial services team, or you may be in one of the top City law firms, but regardless, you must be a UK or Commonwealth qualified lawyer.

This role would suit a person who is proactive and enjoys working autonomously, but you will form part of a collaborative and supportive team.  You must therefore be able to communicate effectively and create strong relationships with your legal and business colleagues.
