Our client, a top tier Legal 500 and Chambers Ranked firm is looking to strengthen its numbers with the appointment of an experienced property solicitor.

The Team

The Real Estate department currently consists of 30 lawyers, is regarded as one of the leading property teams in the Southeast outside London and is recommended by the all the major leading independent legal directories. 

Their lawyers manage a broad range of real estate work across different sectors and includes teams dedicated to property litigation, construction and environmental law. The team handles the full scope of property litigation work including; landlord & tenant work; development and contractual disputes; easements, covenant and boundary advice; land ownership; and insolvency.

Clients include mid-tier businesses (whether quoted or owner-managed), household name PLCs and other major international groups.  They also act for owners and investors, individuals and developers and have extensive experience dealing with corporate occupier clients’ property litigation requirements.

The Candidate

This is an excellent non fee-earning opportunity for an experienced lawyer to join the commercial real estate team.

As the ideal candidate you will be at least 5 PQE and will provide support to the group assisting lawyers in the firm with day-to-day commercial real estate queries.   Other responsibilities will include: drafting and maintaining standard precedents and practice notes; assisting with the delivery of training; assisting with marketing materials such as press releases and social media; maintaining know-how and other material on the firm’s intranet; and liaising with other PSLs in the firm to ensure consistency of advice and materials throughout the practice.
