A leading Commercial Law firm in the North East are looking for a Construction Solicitor to join their Newcastle-upon-Tyne offices.
This firm is a highly-reputable commercial private practice who are on the lookout to bring a driven and experienced Solicitor to join their sizeable Construction and Engineering department. The role:
- Running a caseload of construction matters including all the way from project inception to completion and beyond
- Liaising with a wide range of clients including occupiers, owners, developers, contractors and consultants, to name a few
- Advising clients on construction, engineering and infrastructure projects
- From time to time, you can expect to be working closely with other departments within the firm such as the real estate, procurement, corporate and commercial teams to assist with the construction aspects of their transactions including contracts and due diligence
The ideal candidate:
- A background in Construction matters with a genuine interest in this area of law to develop and excel your career with this exciting private practice
- Ideally you will have experience in drafting and negotiating professional appointments and collateral warranties
- Have demonstrable experience in building solid relationships with clients and networking with an interest in the overall development of the business
