Legal Counsel – In-House Professional Services – Birmingham

Our client is a global professional services firm with over 1000 employees working around the world and offices in 19 cities across all continents.  An opportunity has arisen in the Birmingham office to join the General Counsel Team advising on commercial matters, data protection, regulation, risk and compliance.  This role will be involved in business-critical projects and be helping to advise and find solutions.  It will work closely with other members of the legal team and with key internal stakeholders and partners.  The firm offers great opportunities for people to grow and flourish.

To fill this role, we are seeking a commercial, regulatory or compliance lawyer with previous experience (min 3+ PQE).  You will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of data protection, among other things.  You must be confident and able to deal with individuals at senior levels and be experienced at advising people about compliance and risk.  It is preferable that your experience has been gained in another professional services environment, although not essential.  In return our client can offer a thriving and busy environment where you can learn and develop your career.   Please get in touch for more information.
