Job Details
We are seeking an experienced lawyer (either France England & Wales qualified) to advise on a variety of legal and compliance matters for our dynamic and growing international client. You will review, draft and negotiate agreements, provide general legal guidance and assist the Senior Legal Director, International on a broad range of projects.
You will be a gifted lawyer who understands business and legal issues, enjoys the intellectual challenges of providing succinct counsel regarding complex commercial and legal matters, and consistently strives for excellence. You will be adept at identifying potential legal issues and managing the problem-solving and implementation processes with other areas of the company, including business, technical and finance colleagues. While a command of the law is essential, the company expects you to provide advice based on a nuanced understanding of its business and its products as well as personnel and industry, and to devise the best solution for a problem - not simply the best “legal" solution.
The successful candidate will have at least 4 years PQE as a solicitor in England & Wales or as an avocat in France. You will have significant experience negotiating commercial transactions and counseling clients, ideally in the areas of advertising, technology, and software licensing and development.
