Due to growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Employment Associate (6-7 PQE+) to join their expanding team based in Buckinghamshire to lead on a diverse caseload of both contentious and non-contentious matters for, primarily, respondent clients.

The ideal individual will have trained with a regional or city firm and be able to demonstrate solid commercial acumen with a consistent, and successful, track record in business development. Partnership prospects are excellent and a career development framework is in place for all fee-earners at the firm.

The teams Chambers-rated employment services include advising on; employment contracts and policies, performance and absence management, disciplinary and grievance procedures and managing restructuring, redundancies and executive severance as well as ad-hoc, day to day support to employers. The team also advise on all aspects of discrimination issues and regularly deal with Employment Tribunal and High Court litigation.

Experience in the following areas is preferred.

  • Defending claims across all employment areas.
  • Employment tribunal exposure
  • Advising on TUPE issues and drafting complex TUPE provisions;
  • Experience in dealing with employment agencies, employment businesses and agency worker matters;
