Banking Associates - Asia

Bright, ambitious banking lawyers with between 2-8yrs PQE are sought by a Magic Circle law firm for opportunities across Asia, including Hong Kong where there is a particularly urgent need. Applicants will be academically strong and common law qualified, with their experience to date developed within a top flight international practice.  Chinese language skills would be advantageous (though not essential).

Recognised as one of the global leaders for banking & finance work, representing a wide range of clients, including banks, financial institutions, corporates and private equity funds, the work on offer will span Syndicated Lending, Leveraged and Acquisition Finance, Structured Finance, Funds Finance, Project Finance, High Yield and Restructuring.

It is expected that candidates will be technically excellent with superb drafting skills, combined with a positive reputation amongst clients for providing commercial solutions. You should also be able to demonstrate strong communication and analytical skills, along with a high level of commercial awareness, while ideally possessing a track record of collaborating with multi-jurisdictional and multi-disciplinary teams. An appetite for business development, client relationship management and thought leadership is also an important ingredient to this hire.
