About the role
This busy Commercial Litigation team work with public and private sector bodies on complex disputes, often involving multiple parties.
The successful candidate will be exposed to a wide variety of disputes including:
- Contract disputes
- IP Disputes
- Professional negligence claims
- Arbitration Proceedings
Daily tasks of the Commercial Litigation Solicitor/Associate will include running your own caseload which includes handling settlement negotiations, dealing with disclosure, researching intricate points of law and assisting with business development initiatives.
About the person
The Commercial Litigation Solicitor/Associate will be a UK qualified solicitor with at least 6 months' experience gained in Commercial Litigation matters. It is desirable for the Commercial Litigation Solicitor to be a confident advocate and be able to present orally and conduct negotiations when required.
Alongside an exceptional academic record, key skills that the Commercial Litigation Solicitor must possess include a keen attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, a thirst for knowledge, client focus and the ability to identify and develop appropriate networking opportunities.
