CORPORATE SENIOR ASSOCIATE 5+ PQE - MEDIA AND MUSIC SECTOR FOCUS (READY FOR A CHANGE?)

Looking for a change, fed up of working long hours at home for clients whose businesses you don’t have any connection with or interest in.  Do you want to act for clients in a sector that really interests or appeals to you?  This is a truly unique corporate role, working at this boutique London media law firm, acting largely for clients in the media industry, specifically music.  This firm have an outstanding reputation acting for high profile artists and entrepreneurs and their corporate team have a constant stream of work advising on the sale and purchase of music companies and music catalogues.   Broader corporate media and entertainment work is on offer too.

There is no need to have specific music industry experience.  It’s vital however that you have a strong private company M&A background including plenty of experience drafting and negotiating share and asset purchase agreements and the ability to lead, at least on smaller transactions, with minimal partner supervision.  You will have between 4 - 7 years corporate post qualification experience.   

A close knit team of three partners and one associate, you will be joining as the most senior corporate associate, working alongside colleagues who get great personal satisfaction servicing their clients.  For a corporate lawyer,  this creates a totally different working environment compared to a traditional corporate practice and the firm as a whole have a highly informal and relaxed culture.
