Due to growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Employment Solicitor (NQ+) to join their team based in Reading to assist on a diverse caseload of both contentious and non-contentious matters.

Due to the calibre of the employment team, and firm generally, this team frequently attract corporate clients and senior executives along with other high-profile and HNW individuals as clients. The ideal individual will have trained with a regional or city firm whilst demonstrating solid commercial acumen, and some prior exposure to business development and marketing. You will be able to demonstrate excellent drafting and communication skills and be able to work to tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure.

The teams Chambers-rated employment services include advising on employment contracts and policies, performance and absence management, disciplinary and grievance procedures and managing restructuring, redundancies and executive severance as well as ad-hoc, day to day support to employers. They also advise on all aspects of discrimination issues and regularly deal with Employment Tribunal and High Court litigation.
