Funds Associate / Tier-1 Offshore Firm (Hong Kong)

We have been instructed by a Tier 1 offshore law firm to locate a talented funds lawyer for their expanding Hong Kong practice. The work on offer will include advising private equity and hedge fund sponsors on the structuring and formation of funds and co-investment and alternative investment vehicles and the completion of transactions undertaken by them. In addition, there will be opportunity to become involved in M&A, JV’s, IPO’s as well as acting on general corporate matters. 

Ambitious, hard-working and a strong team player you will have between 3-5 years post qualification experience in general corporate, M&A and/or funds related work from a well-regarded onshore or offshore firm. Fluent in English and Mandarin (able to read Chinese a plus) you will be admitted to practice in England & Wales, Hong Kong, Australia or New Zealand and have HK / Asian market experience.

Academically excellent, you will be a skilled communicator who thrives under pressure and is ready to take on responsibility for multiple transactions, dealing directly with a broad range of high calibre clients across the Asia-Pacific region.
