Our client is a high-growth Artificial Intelligence company that are looking for an innovative Legal Counsel & Business Operations Lead.

The successful candidate will need a strong legal background and entrepreneurial mindset, joining a growing company that is revolutionising human-machine communications.

The key responsibilities for our Legal and Business Operations Lead will be:

* Work directly with the Executive Team to grow the company, with a focus on building systems, policies, and processes to scale
* Helping the different department heads drive special projects, driven by impeccable attention to detail
* Have excellent communication skills (written and verbal), are a natural people person, and can resolve constructive conflicts with ease
* Oversee strategic business initiatives from development through to successful execution under the guidance of senior leadership and departmental heads
* Create alignment internally to ensure business processes are effective and scalable
* Represent the Business Operations needs within our Compliance team
* Be the key point of contact between our external Legal teams, supporting complex contract negotiations

About you:

* Experience working in tech or a growing start-up, with a self-starter and entrepreneurial mindset
* A legal background is essential
* Comfortable handling high-pressure situations calmly and positively
* Resolutely reliable, responsive, and thriving in a fast-paced start-up environment with an openness to change course as needed
* Impeccable time and priority management, you know what needs to be done and people rely on you for your responsiveness on projects
* Proven experience managing a project from start to finish, involving multiple departments & senior stakeholders
* Self-aware, curious and constantly seeking excellence through learning and growth
* Highly organized and self-motivated with distinctive problem-solving capabilities
* Excellent analytical aptitude and experience with data analytics tools, modeling and reporting
* Strong project management skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to build clear, concise presentations
