Given the non-profit status of the organisation, it can afford to invest in hugely important and often costly projects which may not be commercially viable for other businesses, truly benefitting healthcare for all.

The Position

The organisation now need to hire a Corporate Finance Counsel. With a significant royalty stream, the organisation has entered a new era of investment and research and, as a result, it needs dedicated legal support to orchestrate these new investments.

The scope of the role is to provide specialist investment support in relation to new ventures. You would work with innovative funding models in early stage science which could be via seed or venture funding or via partnerships and co-investments in funds. You would also lead on corporate and investment transactions, supporting the organisation’s investment strategy.

About You

This is an excellent opportunity for a corporate lawyer with corporate finance and venture capital experience to join with an innovative, forward-thinking organisation with an excellent reputation and keen dedication to its cause. An interest in life sciences and medicine would be beneficial.
