BOUTIQUE MEDIA LAW FIRM
Our client is a highly respected law firm with a particularly well established Media and Entertainment practice. Their Data team plays an instrumental role in supporting the firm's clients across all DP and Privacy related matters.
The Data team is expanding with the hire of an additional lawyer. The ideal candidate will have 2 - 6 years' PQE and data protection experience, with ideally some commercial tech and IP experience as well. The role will be a minimum of 30% data related work, going up to 100% if the successful candidate wishes this. Corporate experience would be useful but is not essential. The firm could also accommodate particularly strong mixed commercial/corporate candidates, with no existing data experience but an interest in this area.
The Data department advises on commercial technology contracts, data protection and privacy, blockchain and fintech and intellectual property. Core industries and sectors for the team are B2B tech/SaaS, video games, crypto and NFTs, online advertising, and any businesses which use large amounts of data (for example, for machine learning or big data analytics).
