Litigation Lawyer, High Profile Retail Company

Unique opportunity to join a leading FTSE 100 consumer business as a litigation lawyer in a varied contentious role.

About the Opportunity 

The role provides key legal support to the overall business on day to day and strategic litigation matters, often quite general litigation (commercial contracts disputes, supplier disputes) but also more specific matters including health and safety; environmental and regulatory matters. You will also provide support on large, more complex disputes often relating to topical issues and as a result, you will have direct access to senior management and assist on litigation strategy.

About You

A strong commercial litigation background is essential, as is a commercial approach. Fundamental is the ability to provide strong technical support yet work closely with the business, advising in a non-legal way. Ideally, you will have trained and qualified with a leading litigation practice and you will have a broad commercial litigation background. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to operate in a commercial way is key.
