Due to a growth in commercial legal work the company has a new opportunity for a Senior Legal Counsel to join the team. The role is Manchester based however hybrid working is available.


Role - Senior Legal Counsel:

As Senior Legal Counsel you will be required to manage a varied international workload, working closely with the executive and senior management teams on a range of commercial, data protection, IP/marketing, governance and regulatory matters affecting the group.

An important role within the business, you will be responsible for managing the day to day legal workflow, providing critical support on various special projects, and you will deputise for the Group General Counsel & Company Secretary as required.


About you:

The General Counsel at Travel Counsellors is looking for a bright and enthusiastic commercial solicitor to join the team as Senior Legal Counsel. You should have at least 6 years' PQE, gained at a top UK law firm or equivalent in-house team, and possess a solid background in commercial law.

Existing knowledge and experience of franchise agreements, travel regulations (Package Travel Regulations and ATOL) and/or data protection are beneficial but not essential.

You should be comfortable working in an agile and commercially focused environment, managing and influencing multiple stakeholders including senior executives. In addition, you should have the capability to deputise for the Group General Counsel & Company Secretary when required.
