About the Company

This company is the leading FMCG business which produces some of the most loved and highly respected food and beverage brands in the world. 

About the Opportunity 

The company now has a need for a lawyer at senior legal counsel level to join its highly respected legal team in a new position. The role will have dedicated responsibility for a number of the company’s established brands and businesses. This is a very broad in-house position which will work closely with senior management in these businesses. The role will involve negotiating complex commercial agreements relating to supply and distribution for both the EMEA and wider global businesses on a retail and wholesale basis. You will also negotiate manufacturing agreements, business critical sales contracts, technology agreements and procurement contracts as well as advise on IP and promotions, marketing, product development and innovations.

About You

A broad commercial contracts background ideally gained within FMCG or retail is key. Knowledge and experience with consumer businesses is also essential. Experience working with sales and marketing teams would be very useful. You must have strong relationship developments skills, excellent commercial acumen and be able to work both in a team and also autonomously.
