Senior Legal Counsel

Senior Employment Solicitor/ International Legal Counsel focus.
1-7 yrs PQE, Cambridge or London with flexible working

Rare opportunity for an employment solicitor to join a growing team, working in private practice but as a trusted in-house counsel for your client. There are two positions available, Employment Associate at 1-3 yrs PQE and a Senior Employment Associate at 4+ yrs PQE.

If you are, or would like to be, an international specialist who thinks and works differently to traditional lawyers and would like to work alongside like-minded, highly skilled people, then this role would be ideal. Candidates who are currently working in-house or at an international firm, as a legal consultant or a qualified lawyer would be considered.

This role provides ample opportunities to build productive relationships with clients and make connections with colleagues across all departments. Creativity and ideas are welcomed, so this is an ideal route for demonstrating your initiative and getting noticed for it.

It’s demanding yet highly rewarding. You’ll deal with complex matters and projects, working with third party counsel (and other providers) in multiple jurisdictions. The local counsel are English speakers, so you don’t need foreign language skills, although if you have them, they’ll be welcomed.

If you want to be, or are, a domestic lawyer who enjoys a traditional arm’s length private practice model then this is not the right opportunity for you.
