Real Estate - Junior to Senior Associates

Prestigious Magic Circle law firm seeks ambitious associates (2yrs+ PQE through to Senior Associate) for it award winning real estate group.

Possessing strong academics and experience of working on major real estate transactions within a leading City, International or Regional law firm, applicants that have qualified overseas would also be considered, provided they have some UK/English law experience. Applications from candidates whose qualification background may originally have been general corporate/M&A or funds, but who have had experience working on major real estate-backed transactions and who now wish to pursue a career focused on the real estate sector, would also be welcomed to apply. 

Additional candidate strengths & capabilities over and above your practical experience and technical skill set include: a genuine enthusiasm for the real estate sector and a willingness to develop your knowledge and understanding beyond legal interpretation; the ability to work as part of a team while taking personal responsibility - working autonomously when required; and strong communication, inter-personal skills & leadership skills.

The work on offer will be diverse and challenging, including big ticket investment acquisitions and disposals, structured as both asset and corporate vehicle purchases and sales, major landlord and tenant work acting for both investors and occupiers, development work, real estate joint ventures, loan portfolios and the real estate aspects of finance transactions. The role will encompass working on both UK and cross-border deals, often working alongside real estate teams in other jurisdictions.
