A well-known financial services company is seeking an experienced employment lawyer to join their legal function based in Central London.
This position will be a mid level role and has a strong contentious focus. You will work closely with a senior employment lawyer and you will be jointly responsible for employment matters across the business, looking at pre-action matters together with HR and Employee Relations. You could be working on breaches and internal investigations, whistleblowing, grievances and disciplinaries. You should be able to provide advice in relation to DSARs and employee-related privacy issues and drive improvement of policy and procedures across the organisation. You will have great exposure to some of the most senior stakeholders in the business.
Suitable candidates for this role will have a minimum of 3 years' PQE and strong private practice training. You will need to have extensive experience dealing with a variety of employment legal issues. Although this is initially a 12 month contract it is highly expected that it will be converted into a permanent position.
