Job Details
This giga project is a bold and audacious dream, a vision of a new future where entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainable living will thrive. The Legal department is responsible for ensuring that this ambitious mission is delivered, by working with the Kingdom to establish governing law and regulatory authority, whilst building a Legal & Compliance framework for the company and its infrastructure
The are searching for strong lawyers represent the projects values and protect its interest by providing support to an agile and growing Legal Services team. Chosen candidates will have ample opportunity to gain additional exposure given the project’s scope, and an enthusiasm to learn and willingness to upskill in various business areas will be critical for the successful applicant.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Build relationships with the business and stakeholders in various sectors and functions
- Support a wide range of legal matters (e.g. transactions, disputes, intellectual property, mergers & acquisitions, and compliance issues)
- Work effectively with outside counsel
- Support the Legal team, working alongside responsible sector attorneys, as appropriate
- Assist with drafting, document review, document management, and business queries
- Support in the use of technology to help us build a world-class and cutting-edge legal function
- Provide other legal services and advice to the company as needed
Education & Experience
- Team player with an ability to influence and collaborate
- Self-directed displaying strong initiative and an ability to work well under pressure
- Willingness and ability to support various stakeholders and handle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Proficient in Office 365 applications
- Superior academic credentials with a law degree from a leading university and/or law school
- Grad – 4 years PQE
- Willingness to be based on the site within the community
- Saudi national a plus
- Arabic fluency a plus
