This leading international retailer has an opportunity for a commercial lawyer to join the business in a key role for the EMEA legal team.

About the Opportunity

You will have key responsibility for a wide range of commercial contracts and negotiations, particularly with global suppliers and distributors. You will work closely with the marketing team, managing advertising campaigns and overall messaging from the business. You will play a key role in branding and licensing matters as well as digital and you will advise the business on matters relating to sustainability, product compliance and regulatory matters. With two direct reports, you will work closely with the wider European team on strategy as well as day-to-day matters.

About You

A commercial contracts background is key, along with experience in retail or consumer industries. Supply chain, marketing, digital and regulatory experience is also key. You must be able to lead and manage a small team as well as integrate with the wider legal team and you must be able to demonstrate an ability to advise a business at senior management level. The ability to operate in a fast-paced, high profile environment is also key.
