Opportunity for first in-house role – 3+ PQE – Insurance sector

Our client is an international insurance company listed on the New York stock exchange and boasting over $14bn revenue.  An amazing opportunity has arisen in the UK legal team for a junior/mid-level lawyer seeking their first move in-house.  You will be reporting to the Head of Legal and will play an important role in giving proactive commercial legal advice and offering guidance on upcoming regulation.  There is a chance to work closely with senior stakeholders in the business and make a genuine difference.

This is a chance to join an outstanding in-house legal team which is friendly and supportive.  It doesn’t shy away from influencing the business and is well connected to the wider global team. 

We are seeking a solicitor with around 3 years’ PQE who has trained in a leading law firm to take on this opportunity.  Ideally you will have had some insurance sector experience; contentious, non-contentious or regulatory. However, this is not an absolute requirement. If you have strong corporate, commercial or contentious experience and wish to make the move in-house we will consider you.  Our client is seeking an individual that can demonstrate energy, drive and enthusiasm and a willingness to take on personal responsibility.  You must be confident, proactive and professional to thrive in this environment.
