Senior M&A Counsel - 9mth FTC - £125-130k

This is a role working on a specific multi-jurisdictional project but could also encompass wider support for the Group Finance and Corporate Strategy teams.

The postholder will play a leading role in overseeing legal aspects of a particular series of anticipated transactions across multiple jurisdictions around the world, each expected to be mid-small in deal size but strategically important in aggregate for the business. You will be managing all aspects of the execution strategy from commencement through to closing, interacting heavily with the deal teams, business teams and outside counsel or other service providers. You will be called upon to provide strategic advice and guidance to the business on the implications of certain deal terms and structures. The remit will also encompass managing the service delivery and budget of external counsel

This client believes that a qualified lawyer with at least 8 years' PQE will be required to undertake this role but applications from all levels will be considered on merit. The majority of your career must have been spent leading and having full involvement in M&A transactions. Please note a generalist lawyer who has touched on corporate work is not what is required for this hire.
