Legal Counsel, FTSE PLC

FTSE business with a global footprint is seeking a 2 – 6 PQE lawyer to join its legal team based in the West Midlands.

We are working with a well-known FTSE business which operates on a global basis.   Due to an internal promotion in the legal team, an opportunity has been created for a lawyer to join with approx. 2 – 6 PQE.  You will form part of a high calibre team that works very closely with the business and leads on large scale strategic projects and legal matters. 

The focus of your role will be on to commercial projects and agreements; however, you will also get involved in wider areas such as disputes and regulatory and compliance issues.  Examples of the types of projects you would get involved in include:

• Commercial projects relating to – new products, collaborations, marketing activities, bids and tenders, procurement activities and technology and outsourcing.
• Customer contracts and services – large scale bids, tenders and service contracts.
• Regulatory and general business queries relating to competition, consumer and data protection matters.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a lawyer looking to make their first move in-house to a FTSE international business.  Alternatively, if you are already working in-house and would like a change or to step up you will have the opportunity to move to a business facing role where you will get some great experience.

This position would be suited to a lawyer with approx. 2 – 6 PQE from a commercial, IT, corporate or construction background.
