Due to growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Real Estate Associate (1 PQE+) to join their Oxford office. The ideal individual will have trained with an established regional, city or national firm and have gained a solid overview across a broad range of real estate transactions. Strong regional ties to the Thames Valley are preferable.
The team frequently advise on complex commercial property matters including:
- Portfolio Management
- Real Estate Finance
- Landlord & Tenant
- Development Projects
- Investment Opportunities
You can expect to contribute to business development initiatives on a regular basis. This role will suit someone looking for extensive client contact and the opportunity to develop their real estate knowledge with a view to specialising into the retail sector longer term. This firm are frequently ranked highly in the legal directories and are noted for their "...exceptional diligence and in-depth technical knowledge".
The ideal individual will advise on freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals, new lease and lease renewals and portfolio management for occupiers and landlords.
Any experience of the following areas is an advantage:
- acquisition & disposal of freehold and leasehold commercial property
- drafting and negotiating commercial leases and ancillary documents
- management of properties such as licences to assign, underlet or carry out alterations and drafting and negotiating contracts and transfers
- secured lending
