The real estate team in Birmingham act for clients throughout the UK and overseas across a range of sectors, including:
 

• Retail, Hospitality & Leisure
• Financial Services
• Government & Public Sector
• Technology, Media & Communications
• Energy & Natural Resources
• Transport (road, rail, sea, and aviation)

The successful real estate solicitor joining the highly ranked real estate team in Birmingham will undertake a broad range of high value, complex, challenging and rewarding real estate work which will include:
 

• Acquisitions & Disposals
• Overage agreements
• Wayleave agreements
• Lease management
• Asset management
• Joint ventures
• Funding & project finance
• Corporate support

This position is ideally suited to real estate solicitors between NQ and five years’ PQE. Real estate solicitors applying for this position should be able to display:
 

• A strong academic background
• As an NQ at least a single training seat in real estate
• Training and post-qualified experience in real estate gained with a reputable national practice
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Strong negotiation and drafting skills
• Strong technical knowledge
• Experience in business development and client relationship management
