In House - Construction/Engineering Solicitor

THE ROLE

We have an opportunity for an Associate Solicitor with an interest in construction and engineering law.

As a member of a well-established legal department you will be supporting an international team handling high profile global engineering projects.

The work will be varied, providing legal support reviewing, negotiating and drafting a range of engineering and commercial contracts. These will include consultancy and sub-consultancy agreements, collateral warranties, novation agreements, letters of reliance, framework agreements, letters of intent, joint venture agreements, and teaming agreements. There will be an opportunity to handle other work covering contract management, dispute avoidance and dispute management.

THE CANDIDATE

You will be a qualified Solicitor NQ-4 PQE ideally with a construction/engineering law pedigree or a general commercial contracts background.

You will be able to demonstrate sound commercial negotiation skills, good organisational skills and a desire to develop a career as an in house lawyer within a highly regarded and successful business.

The location for this role is flexible and some homeworking may be considered
