An exciting corporate practice going from strength to strength are looking for a key hire, a mid to senior level associate who would be the most senior non partner lawyer within their team, working predominantly on private M&A transactions, investment work, exits and capital raising for a largely entrepreneurial, owner managed client base  .   

The work of the group has a strong focus on clients in the media and tech sectors, specifically, digital media, film and tv, music and sport.

As the most senior associate, you will be given plenty of autonomy to build your own client relationships through the firm’s impressive group of lawyers working in these sectors (many market leading) and to build and develop over time your own external practice.

Much of the team’s work is sell side M&A and as a result less demanding than buy side corporate practices with a mostly UK client base .  As a result lawyers in the team rarely work late nights and weekends.  You’ll be given the opportunity to build long term client relationships rather than be placed randomly on deals.

Ideally you will have trained and practiced in a City law firm, with a strong corporate grounding, a passion for corporate work and a desire to be more than simply a legal adviser to your clients but their business adviser.

You’ll find the quality of work comparable to much larger City firms but you will be in a working environment and culture that is very different, friendly and informal with excellent partnership prospects and the opportunity to carve out a niche as a senior corporate lawyer within the media, sport and creative sectors.
