Job Details
Our client is one of Bermuda's leading offshore law firms with a strong and established office in on the island. As one of the oldest firms in the jurisdiction, they are at the heart of many of the highest profile and complex transactions involving the island. The firm's corporate practice advises a global client base on the full spectrum of corporate transactions and commercial law.
The firm is now seeking an experienced corporate lawyer to join it's team in Bermuda as a Senior Associate. The role will entail advising clients across multiple sectors on a wide range of corporate and finance transactions, often working with other major law firms in the US and Europe to provide a seamless cross-border service. In return, the firm is offering a highly competitive salary and the opportunity to maintain a high calibre legal practice while living on one of the world's most idyllic islands.
The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:
- Qualified as a Solicitor, Barrister, or Attorney in the UK, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand;
- Have a minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience at a well-known law firm;
- Have demonstrable expertise in one or more of the following areas: M&A transactions; Joint Venture arrangements; IPOs / other equity offerings; corporate restructuring; and
- Be eager to build a varied career offshore.
