Working in the Bristol office or from home if preferred, your influence upon the team will be immediate. Day-to-day, you'll take advantage of a balanced team structure, approachable leadership and paralegal support, along with the use of technologies ensuring your time is used efficiently.

The Role

4+ PQE Employment Associate to join Band 1, T1 team within Bristol Top 50 firm

Within the award-winning team, you will focus on high-profile cases set both in the UK and overseas, supporting both advisory and contentious areas.

Working with FTSE 250 and international organisations in Finance, Retail, Real Estate and Tech, to name a few, you'll provide strategic advice, take part in significant projects whilst acting for matters at tribunal and High Court. You will engage with colleagues from other areas of the firm, particularly corporate, as a result of the work they do.

As an Associate, you will mentor juniors with your high technical expertise, whilst also being influencial in the future direction of the team.

Being a strategic hire due to investment into the unit, you will be encouraged to expand your remit in the team from the onset, working toward being a Senior Associate and Partner level colleague.

The team's output in terms of quality and involvement is unmatched in Bristol, with the team competing with the City, whilst not restricting the lifestyle of those in the group.

The Requirements

  • 4+ PQE within Employment law
  • Prior tenure at Top 200 firm, leading boutique or regionally heavyweight
  • Willingness to develop and progress up the career ladder.
  • Engagement with present and future clients with the ability to manage, exceed and anticipate evolving needs and expectations.
